I’m April Goranson, an insurance agent for Central Insurance Agency in Cambridge, MN. I have lived in the Cambridge area for over 20 years. I have been an agent for almost 10 years. My focus is on commercial, personal and life insurance. My passion for this industry has grown and has traced back to my upbringing and events that have happened in my own life. I grew up on a farm and at an early age, learned the importance of hard work and perseverance. I recognize that I have the opportunity to educate and protect you and your family and the things you hold most close to you. Daily, I make it my personal goal to achieve the empathy and understanding of what your full insurance needs are.

Naturally, since I was raised on a farm, enthusiasm, hard work and dedication go into everything I do. From my children, to each and every one of my personal clients, my passion to take care of everyone around me shines through. I have 3 sons that keep me very busy at this time in their life. We are running to baseball practice, basketball games, fishing tournaments, 4H, band concerts and dirt bike racing. We are a very “outdoor” type of family. We love to do anything and everything God’s country has to offer us. Hunting grouse, deer and pheasants are a passion for us all. On one hunting trip up north, everyone says I got lucky, but I think it was skill - I took 2 grouse down with 1 shot. I won’t ever live that one down and will be able to brag about that for years to come…even if it may have been “luck”.

The way I pay attention to detail, have good listening skills (must come from those 3 boys I have) and great empathy are symbols of my pride that I take in my customer service skills. I treat everyone like family and look forward to working with anyone that decides to cross my path.

I started my insurance career in 1987. I have a vast knowledge in commercial and personal lines coverages and with my experience can personalize a program to fit your needs. I find it rewarding to assist our customers and know that I am providing them with a benefit.

I have two German Shepherds that I refer to as my fur children, plus I have an adult son, a wonderful daughter-in-law and a fun, crazy, smart grandson that is a joy to watch grow up. I enjoy going for roads trips to see our beautiful United States and make sure that I visit the Florida beach and Nashville annually. Love all the seasons that Minnesota offers, including the crisp, white snow.
